On a snowy Saturday early afternoon, the Golden Eagles kept sure footed running their way to 77 points and a running clock on defending State Champion Manchester. It was another balanced attack as 4 Eagles reached double digits, and 7 got into the scoring column. Senior RJ Shugart led the way driving to the basket finishing with 18 points and 3 assists. Next off the bench with 17 points and 7 rebounds was KD Simmons. Will Tonagel finished with 14 points 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Jace Tonagel 11 points 2 assists, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Jayden Younce was 3-3 behind the arch for his 9 points, and also had 4 steals and 5 rebounds. Both Watts and Cruzan rounded out the scoring with 4 points each. The Golden Eagles will be back in action 1 week from today when they host Norwell for a Saturday afternoon game. Come on out as the Golden Eagles look to keep things going and try to topple a very good Norwell team!
