Oak Hill 8th grade boys swept in first home game against Kokomo

The 8th grade A team found themselves in a 15-1 deficit after the first quarter. They did a good job fighting back and played Kokomo even over the next 2 quarters, but ultimate fell 51-24 when the dust settled. Leading the scoring for Oak Hill was Naseer Ajamu with 8. Isaiah Miller had 5, Grayston Bricker had 3, and Zach Means, Caleb Clark, Weston Roth and Zane Pierre all added 2 points. The B team came up short also, losing 50-11. The leading scorer for the B game was Blake Robinson with 4, Titus Johnson had 3 and Remington Middlesworth and Evan Smiley each had 2. The 8th Grade boys will be back in action tomorrow (Thursday) as they travel to McCulloch Middle School in Marion for an A/B contest.
