The boys had an outstanding performance tonight during their season opener against Eastern. The entire team exceeded my expectations for this meet. We ended up with 36 personal best swims and broke 3 school records. The Relay team of Cael McCann, Evan Bledsoe, Cooper McQuiston and Braylon Carey broke the 15 year old 200 Medley Relay record with a time of 1:38.05. Cooper McQuiston then went on to break the 200 Freestyle record with a time of 1:49.21. Later on in the meet, Cael McCann broke the 100 Backstroke record with a time of 53.06. So many big swims and goal shattering swims happened tonight for this team. Ben Babinski also performed well in diving. Competing in the sport for the first time after just recently joining the team. I was very proud of their effort. Way to start the season strong!
