Oak Hill Girls lose a tough meet to Hamilton Heights

The Lady eagles swam very well tonight. The diving depth from the Huskies and a few close races proved too much for the Oak Hill girls to overcome. We ended up with 10 new season best swims and also took 4 first places and 8 second places. I was thrilled with how fast they swam. Swimming in back to back meets to start the first week back at school is tough. The girls are sore and tired from winter training and school starting up, and yet they continue to drop time and show up big. They should all be very proud of their effort. Tonight's breakout performance goes to Quinn Brunner. Quinn lowered her personal best in the 500 by 7 seconds. I was also excited to watch Addison Carey continue to lower her 100 free time and improve her backstroke in the relay and individual event. Great job tonight ladies! Tonight's first place swims: 200 Medley Relay (Addison Carey, Savannah Hunt, Bella Kenyon, June Burtner) June Burtner (50 free) Addison Carey (100 free) Savannah Hunt (100 breast) Oak Hill Girls Varsity vs Hamilton Heights High School (80 - 102) Loss
