Varsity Boys Basketball defeats Peru to go 9-0!

After a long layoff the Golden Eagles got to get out and run again at Peru they came out with their typical smothering defense and set the tone winning the first quarter 22–3. They went on to ultimately win by 26 points. Jace Tonagel led the way with 23 points, five assists, five rebounds, and three steals Landon Watts had a career high 14 points, with three rebounds, two steals, and one assist RJ Shugart had 13 points three assists and two rebounds. Landon Cruzan had nine points and two rebounds. Luke Elzinga had seven points and eight rebounds. Jaden Younce had five points three assists and seven rebounds Solomon Boswell, KD Simmons and Josh Clark each had two points and rounding out the scoring was Corbin Dailey with one point. The Golden Eagles are now 9-0, and will host 4A Zionsville tomorrow night.
