Oak Hill 8th Grade Boys escape with a win at Frankton

The 8th grade boys won a tight one at Frankton on Thursday 41-39. The Eagles got off to a rough start and found themselves in a deficit after the first quarter 11-6. They won the 2nd quarter 14-9 to head to the locker room at the half tied at 20. Leading the Eagles was Caleb Clark with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 steals. Naseer Ajamu also had a great game with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Weston Roth had 4 points and 7 boards, Zane Pierre and Hunter Chism added 2 each. Isaiah Miller and Grayston Bricker scored all of their points in the second half, coming away with 8 and 4 points respectively. In the "B" quarter, Brenyn Meacham drained a 3 to complete the sweep on the night as the "B" team won 3-2. The 8th grade boys will finish out a busy week with the Grant 4 tournament on Saturday at Mississinewa.
