Oak Hill 8th grade boys were back in action against a familiar foe Tuesday evening at RJB. It was another hard fought game, but again it came down to how it was started. The Eagles brought the intensity early and took off to a 20-7 lead after the first frame. Oak Hill had built a comfortable lead deep into the second quarter, but 7 quick points by the Indians to close the half, cut the lead to 14. The Eagles were challenged to channel the energy again to start the second half and they responded by putting up 23 points in the 3rd quarter and building the lead to 25, before ultimately winning the contest 62-44. Naseer Ajamu had a big night scoring a game high 21 points, and being 1 of 4 Eagles in double digits. Others were Caleb Clark with 12 points, Zach Means with 11 points, and Weston Roth with 10 points. Also contributing to the scoring were Isaiah Miller with 3 points, Zane Pierre and Hunter Chism with 2 points each and Grayston Bricker with 1 point. The Golden Eagles will be back in action tomorrow night as they host Southern Wells in a make up game.
