8th grade boys cap off regular season with victory over Maconaquah 49-22

The Oak Hill Golden Eagles 8th grade boys team finished the regular season 18-1 after a big win against visiting Maconaquah. The Eagles led 21-17 at the half. They stepped up the defense in the second half, only allowing 5 points, and outscoring their opponent 28-5. As a part of that stingy defense, Oak Hill had 20 steals on the game. Scorers for Oak Hill included Naseer Ajamu with 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. Isaiah Miller added 13 points including 3 of 5 behind the arc. Caleb Clark had 9 points and 6 rebounds. Grayston Bricker had 5 points and led the team with 5 steals. Hunter Chism had 2 points, 2 steals and 3 rebounds. Zane Pierre added 2 points and a board, and Zach Means had 4 steals. This ends the regular season for the 8th grade group and they will begin the CIC tournament next week beginning Monday with a trip to Eastbrook.
