The Oak Hill Lady Eagles got off to a strong start on the road Tuesday night, jumping out to a 16–9 lead after one quarter and extending it to 28–13 at halftime on their way to a 51–33 victory over the Alexandria Tigers to claim the CIC crown. It marked the 18th consecutive win for Oak Hill. Kora Pond led all scorers with 17 points, including a timely three-pointer in the second half after Alexandria trimmed the deficit to nine—the closest the Tigers would get the rest of the night. Bri Dailey added 10 points along with a team-high 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. Landri Hardman dished out a team-best 5 assists while also contributing 8 points and 3 steals, and Morgan Cates chipped in 9 points and 5 rebounds. The Lady Eagles will wrap up the regular season at home Saturday with Senior Night against Heritage Christian, with tipoff scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
