The 8th Grade Oak Hill boys basketball team got off to a good start on Saturday against Madison-Grant at Frankton. Due to weather delays, the boys were forced to play a double header on Saturday if they wanted to win the conference. The good start got them off to a 14-2 lead after the first quarter, and they took a 15 point lead into the half. Madison-Grant wasn't ready to quit as they pulled within 12 after the 3rd quarter. When the dust settled, it was the Oak Hill boys that were triumphant 43-31. Oak Hill got 29 of their 43 points from a strong front court with Caleb Clark leading all scorers with 19 points and Weston Roth had 10 points. The other 14 points belonged to both Isaiah Miller and Naseer Ajamu scoring 7 each. With the win, the Eagles were given an hour break before facing off against Blackford in the championship.
