The Golden Eagles finished the season with a perfect 10-0 dual meet record with their win over a tough Western team. We ended up winning 9 of the 12 events and avenged a hard loss from last year. I have a lot of respect for this Western team. They have good swimmers and divers and are well coached. This was a great win for the boys tonight. Our breakout swimmer of the meet was Cooper McQuiston. He won all 4 of his events and beat a couple of their best swimmers to secure some much needed points. I was also very proud of Eli Gardner. He had some great swims tonight and the big moment came in the last relay. He came from behind to anchor his team to a third place finish, even after feeling pretty rough from his earlier race. Way to swim tough tonight! I am very proud of all my athletes. Congratulations on the undefeated season.
