It was a tight game for 3 quarters, but your Golden Eagles prevailed by 19, winning 76-57. Both offenses were hot the 1st quarter as 8 three pointers were made between the 2 teams leading to a 23-19 lead for the Eagles. The Golden Eagles actually won each quarter quietly building their lead bit by bit wearing down the Panthers to win going away. That win ties the record for most consecutive wins at 15 for Oak Hill’s illustrious basketball program, with this year’s team doing it the first 15 games of the year. To break the record the Golden Eagles will need to beat one of their toughest opponents yet as 4A Homestead with a 12-5 record comes to the Eagles nest.
