In the first quarter it was raining threes as the Eagles nailed 6 of them. Will Tonagel hit 3 of them, Jayden Younce 2, and Jace Tonagel 1, on there way to a 28-13 first quarter lead. The Eagles scored 20 more in the 2nd quarter while holding the Blue Devils to just 8 to take a 27 point lead to the half and then just put it on cruise control the rest of the game. Senior RJ Shugart and freshman Will Tonagel paced the balanced scoring with 19 points a piece. Shugart added 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal, while Will added 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Also reaching double digits with his 2nd straight double double was Jace Tonagel with 11 points and 10 assists, and 5 rebounds to go with that. Jayden Younce had 6 points, a team high 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. Landon Cruzan had 6 points and a steal. Beckham Lamb had 4 points and a steal. Luke Elzinga, KD Simmons, and Solomon Boswell rounded out the scoring with 2 points each. The Golden Eagles are now 17-1 and will travel to Marion Thursday night with a JV tip-off starting at 6pm.
