On Monday OHXC & OHTF Senior Golden Eagle Corban Tippey signed his commitment to compete for Indiana Wesleyan University. Tippey was a 2025 IHSAA State Qualifier in Cross Country as well as a 1st Team Class 2A All State Selection. Tippey was also an All State selection in 2024. Tippey concluded his cross country career this fall ranked 13th all time in program history. He led the Golden Eagles to a #2 Class 2A State Ranking all season along with collecting over 100 wins, a Grant 4 title, and a Central Indiana Conference title. He was the Grant 4 Individual Champion and Individual Runner Up at the CIC. Tippey is a 6 time All Conference performer in Cross Country and Track and a 4 time IHSAA Super Regional Qualifier. Tippey joins both his older siblings who also competed as IWU Wildcats. He will compete at IWU for Coach Brody Beiler and Caleb Snyder. IWU's men were the NAIA National Champions in Cross country this fall and are currently ranked #4 in the Nation for Indoor Track. Tippey becomes the 33rd OHXC & OHTF Athlete to sign to compete at the college level since 2020.
