Golden Eagle Freshman Cooper McQuiston entered Friday's IHSAA State Swim Prelims seeded 13th in the 200 Yard Freestyle but smashed his own program record in 1:40.62 to want a spot in Saturday's Top 8 Medal Round A Final. The time sits 6th after prelims. McQuiston will compete in the A Final for a Top 8 All State Podium Medal Saturday.
