With the victory over the Delta Eagles, your 2025-2026 Golden Eagles finished the regular season 21-1 for the best regular season record in school history and guaranteed best winning percentage for a season in school history. Now comes the 2nd season and the Golden Eagles are looking to get it started with a win against the sectional host and defending state champion Manchester Squires. That opening round game of sectional starts Tuesday night after the first game, so approximately 7:30pm. The Golden Eagles won the first 3 quarters by 8, 6, and 7 points each to stretch the lead and win comfortably. Jace Tonagel paced the offense scoring 18 points with 6 assists and 6 steals. Jayden Younce scored 8 points with 2 steals. KD Simmons also scored 8 points with 3 rebounds. Will Tonagel had 7 points, 2 steals and 2 assists. Luke Elzinga had 4 points and 4 rebounds. Landon Watts had 4 points, 4 steals and 3 assists. Landon Cruzan and Corbin Dailey rounded out the scoring with 3 points and 2 points respectively. Hope to see everyone in Indy tomorrow cheering our Lady Eagles on to a state championship, then again on Tuesday night as our boys began their post season journey!
