A great team effort in the first quarter seeing 7 different Golden Eagles score and defensively holding the Kings to 8 points. Then in the 2nd quarter Will Tonagel took over the scoring duties scoring 13 of his career high 28 pts in the quarter. Then in the 3rd quarter we scored 26 points to put the game away. With a Landon Watts three pointer to start the 4th we had a running clock the rest of the game, ultimately winning 72-34. Stats for the Game: Will Tonagel had 28 points and 5 assists. Jace Tonagel had 10 points and 6 assists. Landon Watts had 7 points, 4 steals and 3 rebounds. Corbin Dailey had 6 points. Jayden Younce, KD Simmons and Landon Cruzan each had 5 points. Luke Elzinga had 4 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Rounding out the scoring was Solomon Boswell with 2 points. The Golden Eagles will play Rochester for the sectional championship tomorrow night at 7:30pm at Manchester. Come out and support your Golden Eagles!
