Oak Hill Varsity Golden Eagles defeat Woodlan 3-1 in 4.5 innings before the game was called due to weather. Leading the Golden Eagles offensively were Gage Stickann (2-2, HR, 2B, 2 RBI) and Kyler Thompson (2-2, 2B). Beckham Lamb, Tae'Shawn Inman, and Kevaunte Simmons each tallied a hit during the game as well. Ayden Pearce got the start for the season opener and went 4 innings giving up 1 run on 2 hit with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts. Austin Neese pitched the final inning giving up 0 runs on 1 hit. Oak Hill Varsity Golden Eagles will be back in action Tuesday, April 7th where they will face the Eastern Comets.
