The JHTF Lady Eagles split a dual meet with visiting Eastern on Wednesday. The 8th grade won 70 -29 while the 7th grade fell 58-41. On the night the 8th grade managed to win 6 of 12 events with 4 different Lady Eagles winning multiple events. Kourtney Volmer led the way with 3 wins while Berklie Hardman, Mileigh Miller, and Allie Tonagel each won 2 Events. Volmer individually won the Long Jump and 200 Meter Dash with Miller taking 2nd. Miller individually won the 100 Meter Dash with Quinn Massey taking 2nd. Tonagel won the 400 Meter Dash while Hardman won the High Jump. Hardman followed behind Tonagel in the 400 along with Kate Bajor taking 3rd for a 1-2-3 sweep of the event. The 4 Lady Eagles - Volmer, Hardman, Tonagel, and Miller combined to win the 4x400 Meter Relay together. The 7th grade Lady Eagles were led by 1 multi-event winner in 6th grader Lakyn Blair who won 3 events taking the 1600 Meter Run and 800 Meter Run. She was also on the winning 4x400 Meter Relay where she was joined by 7th graders Rose Wyrick and Alaina Smiley along with 6th grader Brooklyn Bollhoefer. Lady Eagle 7th grader Reese Skinner won the 100 Meter Dash. The Lady Eagles combined forces this Saturday May 2nd competing in the Central Indiana Conference Meet held at Madison Grant.
