The OHTF Lady Eagles closed out the 2026 regular season by winning 13 of 16 events on Senior night to win a home dual meet against Northfield 108-23. In all the Lady Eagles were able to get wins from 9 of their 11 competing seniors. Lady Eagle Seniors Addison Carey, Lexi Nuber, and Audrey Rex were all multi-event winners to lead the way for the class of 2026. Nuber swept the hurdle events winning the 100 and 300 Meter Hurdle races. Carey and Rex were both part of a pair of winning relays. Carey grabbed wins as part of the 4x800 Meter Relay and 4x400 Meter Relay along with Rex who also got a win as part of the 4x100 Meter Relay. Other seniors earning wins on the 3 relays were Kaitlyn Scalf and Clarisse Callens in the 4x8 with Carey and Sophia Rowland along with Biruk Travis in the 4x4 with Carey and Rex. A pair of underclassmen won 3 events on the night as Junior Quinn Brunner joined the 3 senior distance runners - Carey, Scalf, and Callens to win the 4x8 while also individually winning the 800 Meter Run and 3200 Meter Run. Sophomore Bri Dailey won 3 individual events as she swept the jumps winning the High Jump and Long Jump while also winning the 400 Meter Dash. Dailey posted a personal best in the Long Jump of 16-6.5. A jump that ranks 5th All Time in Program History making her just the 10th Lady Eagle to ever go over 16 feet. Other senior winners on the night Ava Keith in the Pole Vault and Sarah Beth Tripp in the Shot Put. Additional underclassmen event winners were Sophomore Brooklyn Young in the Disc while a trio of Sophomores Riley Archer, Gabby Nero, and Haylie Turnpaugh grabbed their 1st varsity wins as part of the 4x1 with Rex. The Lady Eagles managed to earn 8 additional runner up finishes. Travis took 2nd in the 1600 Meter Run, Sophomore Taylor Campbell took 2nd in the 100 Meter Dash, Young took 2nd in the Shot Put behind Tripp as part of a 1st through 7th sweep in the event. After Tripp and Young came Freshman Malayah Gray in 3rd, Sophomore Aubree Barcomb in 4th, Senior Madelyn Cheek in 5th, Senior Amaia Blades in 6th, and Freshman Harper Wiley in 7th. The same group managed a 1st through 6th in the Disc with the order being Young, Cheek, Tripp, Wiley, Barcomb, and Gray. Carey took 2nd to Brunner in the 800 while Sophomore Rossi Skinner took 2nd to Brunner in the 3200. Brunner and Carey led a 1st through 5th effort in the 800 followed in 3rd by Freshman Shelby Hollingsworth, Junior Lilly Snyder in 4th, and Junior Karsyn Cole in 5th. Dailey led a 1-2-3 finish in the 400 followed by Junior Lilly Edwards in 2nd and Sophomore Emi Babinski in 3rd. In the High Jump Dailey led a 1-2-3 finish along with Freshman Eva Tripp in 2nd and Rowland in 3rd. In the Long Jump Dailey and Newhouse went 1-2. Junior Kora Pond took 2nd in the 200 Meter Dash. Sophomore Callie Nuber was runner up to Keith in the Pole Vault. The Lady Eagles concluded the regular season with a record of 16-2-1 along with winning their 17th straight Grant 4 Title and 16th straight Central Indiana Conference Title. The Lady Eagle Throwers compete "individually" in the Bluffton Throwers Showcase this weekend on Saturday May 16th before starting IHSAA Tourney Series action next Tuesday May 19th in the Marion Sectional. The Lady Eagles will be competing to win the 1st Sectional 3-Peat in Program History.
