Oak Hill High School

Oak Hill celebrated senior night with a win for the Lady Eagles against Northfield. The team honored four seniors this evening: Cayen King, Savanah Thurman, Arianna Tincher, and Alizzia Babinski. Oak Hill struck first in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Jolee Hawkins started off the inning with a walk and Sierra Snyder came in to run for her. Pathie Speicher hit a shot over second base for a single and Reagan Rhinebarger came in to run for her. Snyder stole 3rd and on the next play Ava David hit the ball on the ground for an RBI and reached first on a fielder's choice. Northfield answered with a run of their own in the third inning to make the score 1-1. Becca Cardona started off the fifth inning with a walk, followed by a beautiful bunt for a single by Ryleigh Myers. Brailyn Peterson also laid down a bunt for a single to load the bases. Kora Weller hit the ball hard for an RBI to shortstop who threw it to third base for the force out. Ericah Emery laid down a bunt to load the bases once again. Then Kalinn Larimore hit a 3-run RBI double. She was hit in by Pathie Speicher's RBI double to make the score 6-1. Northfield scored a couple more runs, but came up short in the 7th inning with Oak Hill staying on top 6-4. P. Speicher went 2 for 3 with one RBI. K. Larimore went 1 for 1 with 3 RBIs. Pathie Speicher started on the mound for the Eagles. and she had 6 strike outs. Brailyn Peterson finished the game up for the Eagles, pitching the last 2 innings.
