The Boys Varsity Soccer team played Marion away tonight in the second game of an Eagles vs. Giants doubleheader and what a game it was! The boys were able to score first in the first half after Luke Elzinga drew a foul in the box. He then scored the PK for the Eagles and they went into half time up 1-0. Marion answered in the second half scoring a PK goal as well. The Eagles continued to work hard and with less than 2 minutes to go in the game, Tayt Bowlin played a ball to Luke Elzinga out wide. Luke was able to drive and bury a goal in the back of the net putting the Eagles up 2-1 for a HUGE win to close out there away game streak this week! Great game Eagles!!! Well done and well deserved win! They are back at it Tuesday August 25th with their first home game of the season vs. Eastbrook!
