Oak Hill High School

The OHXC Lady Eagles put 3 runners on the Top 10 All County Medal Podium Saturday but fell short of winning their 3rd straight Grant 4 Title taking strong a 2nd to Eastbrook in the event held at Mississinewa. Eastbrook currently ranked #2 in Class 2a managed to put 5 girls in the Top 10 including 4 Freshmen to score 24 points. The Lady Eagles presently ranked #6 in Class 2a totaled 42 points for 3rd with Mississinewa taking 3rd and Madison Grant 4th. Lady Eagle Senior Quinn Brunner led the way with a 3rd place finish in 21:16 a time 28 seconds faster than her Runner Up time in 2025 on the same course. With her 3rd Place Medal Brunner became just the 5th Lady Eagle in the last 25 years to earn a Top 3 finish at the Grant 4 3 straight years. Juniors Lilly Hunt and Rossi Skinner joined Brunner on the Top 10 All County Team with solid finishes in 6th and 8th earning Medals. Sophomore Shelby Hollingsworth just missed a medal finishing 11th with Freshman Lucy Devers and Senior Lilly Snyder closely behind in 14th and 15th. Freshman Verity Bishop rounded out the Varsity with a Top 20 finish in 16th. Sophomore Izzy Ybarra was also Top 20 coming in 18th. The Lady Eagles compete in the Culver Military Invitational next Saturday September 26th.
