The Boys Varsity Soccer team played the Blackford Bruins away last night and had another HUGE CIC Conference win putting them up 3-0 right now for their conference record. Again, the Golden Eagles had a solid performance by all players. There were lots of goals scored by different teammates and the defensive line continues to be SOLID every game. The Golden Eagles did not allow a single shot on goal. The final score was 8-0. In the first half, the Eagles scored four goals. The first was scored by Tayt Bowlin unassisted. Next, Josue Mora scored a goal assisted by Maddux Kenyon. Senior Cayden Jones scored the third goal of the game assisted by Josue Mora. Maddux Kenyon scored unassisted to take the Eagles into halftime. The Golden Eagles then continued scoring goals in the second half of the game. Goal number 5 was scored by Josue Mora assisted by Maddux Kenyon. Next Senior Luke Elzinga scored unassisted. Cayden Jones scored the next goal assisted by Luke Elzinga and finally Josue Mora scored his third goal of the night assisted for his 1st Varsity Hat Trick. Many players contributed to this team win!!! Great Job boys!
