The Boys Varsity Soccer team played an away conference game last night at Elwood. The Golden Eagles had a big win 12-0. The Eagles had a great team win across the board on offense and defense. In the first half, the Eagles scored 10 of their goals. Senior Luke Elzinga scored the first goal assisted by Maddux Kenyon. Next, Tayt Bowlin scored a goal unassisted. The third goal was scored by Ethan Leas unassisted. Maddux Kenyon then scored a goal unassisted. The fifth goal of the half was scored by Luke Elzinga assisted by Carter Kreitzer. Senior Jace Tonagel then scored his 1st Varsity goal assisted by Luke Elzinga. Senior Cayden Jones then scored two goals in a row unassisted. Next, Maddux Kenyon scored the 9th goal of the half unassisted. To close out the first half, Tayt Bowlin scored a goal unassisted. In the second half the Eagles were able to find the back of the net a couple more times. Senior Corbin Furnish scored a goal unassisted for his 1st Varsity goal and Senior Ben Babinski scored his 1st Varsity goal assisted by Senior Jayshown Cotton. Kaymen Johnson had 2 saves in goal on the night! Great team win for all players! The Eagles play again on Thursday at home vs. Mississinewa for their Senior Night! Come out and support!
