OHXC Lady Eagles Take Runner Up Honors at 22 Team Marion Invite - Woodard, Brunner, Sneed, Snyder, Skinner All Medal

The OHXC Lady Eagles had a very strong showing at Saturday's Marion Invitational held at Indiana Wesleyan finishing 2nd overall in the 22 Team Field. The Lady Eagles scored 93 points just 9 points behind event champion Eastbrook and 26 points ahead of 3rd place New Castle. The Lady Eagles on the the day had a number of lifetime best as well as 5 Top 35 Medalist. The Lady Eagles Top 5 Varsity scorers all set lifetime personal best times and earned Top 35 Medals. Senior Audrey Woodard led the way with a new lifetime best 20:51 to finish 8th overall. Woodard's time moves her into the Top 20 All Time in Program History. Sophomore Quinn Brunner made it 3 for 3 in races this season with new lifetime best posted. Brunner dropped nearly a full minute off her previous best this season to clock a 21:31 and medal in 13th. Brunner's time moves her up the Program All Time list into the 25th best time ever. Senior Abby Sneed, Sophomore Lilly Snyder, and Freshman Rossi Skinner all set new personal best times as well as earning Medals in 24th for Sneed, 33rd for Snyder, and 34th for Skinner. Freshman Lilly Hunt was the 6th Varsity runner for the Lady Eagles also setting a new personal best in 47th along with Junior Kaitlyn Scalf establishing a new personal best in 51st. The Lady Eagles compete next Saturday September 14th in the Eagle Classic held at Brown County.
