OHXC Lady Eagles Grab Runner Up Honors at 25 Team Eagle Classic - Woodard Medals

For the 2nd straight weekend the OHXC Lady Eagles earned Runner Up Honors and hardware in a major Invitational. Saturday the Lady Eagles traveled South to Brown County competing in the 23rd annual prestigious Eagle Classic. The Lady Eagles took 2nd overall in the 25 Team field behind Barr Reeve with 84 points. The Lady Vikings won with 59. Perry Central was 3rd with 114, Owen Valley 4th with 119, and Wabash 5th with 155. Senior Lady Eagle Audrey Woodard led the way breaking 21 minutes for the 2nd straight weekend and for just the 2nd time in her career to finish 4th earning a Top 10 Medal. Sophomore Quinn Brunner broke 22 minutes for the 2nd straight weekend and for just the 2nd time in her career to finish 11th on the Top 25 Podium just outside the Top 10 Medals. Senior Abby Sneed also earned Top 25 Podium Honors with a solid 21st Place Finish. Sophomore Lilly Snyder 34th and Freshman Rossi Skinner 39th rounded out the Top 5 Varsity Scorers while Junior Kaitlyn Scalf and Freshman Lilly Hunt completed the Varsity 7 in 44th and 52nd respectively. The event as a whole featured 11 Top 25 State Ranked Teams including #1, #5, #8, and #10. The Lady Eagles are off until the Grant 4 Championship Meet on Tuesday September 24th.
