OHXC Lady Eagles Win Grant 4 Championship - Woodard & Brunner Earn Top 3 Medals. Sneed, Snyder, Hunt All Top 10

The OHXC Lady Eagles put together their most competitive race of the season upending a tough Eastbrook team to win the Grant 4 Championship Tuesday night on the Lady Panther's home course. The Lady Eagles put their Top 5 scoring runners all in the Top 9 including 2 Top 3 Medalist in Senior Audrey Woodard-2nd and Sophomore Quinn Brunner-3rd to win their 10th Grant 4 Title in the last 12 seasons. The Lady Eagles had won 9 straight before Eastbrook won the 2 seasons. The Lady Eagles won with 26 points while Eastbrook was 2nd with 42, Mississinewa 3rd with 61, and Madison Grant 4th. Senior Abby Sneed had a strong race finishing 5th overall. Joining Woodard, Brunner, and Sneed with Top 10 All County Honors were Sophomore Lilly Snyder who took 7th while Freshman Lilly Hunt was 9th. The Varsity Top 7 was rounded out by Freshman Rossi Skinner in 13th and Junior Kaitlyn Scalf in 16th. Junior Lydia Trexler and Senior Ellie Campbell were Top 20 finishers as well in 17th and 19th. The Lady Eagles compete Saturday September 28th in the Culver Academy Invitational.
