Boys Varsity Soccer wins over Blackford 5-1

The Boys Varsity Soccer Golden Eagles played away against the Blackford Bruins last night. Blackford scored first early in the game to go up 1-0 in the game. The Eagles then answered with a goal by Drew Elzinga assisted by Seth David to tie the game 1-1. Morshawn Cotton scored the second goal for the Eagles unassisted, with the third goal quickly scored by Luke Elzinga unassisted as well. Late in the game, Morshawn Cotton then scored two more unassisted goals for the Eagles to have three goals for a Hat Trick on the night. Collin Kreitzer had 4 saves in goal. The Eagles defeated the Bruins 5-1. They play next Saturday morning at 10:00 am at home against Eastbrook.
