Girls Varsity Basketball Falls to Alexandria

On Saturday evening, the Lady Eagles faced off against, #2 ranked Alexandria with the CIC Championship on the line. The two teams had each only suffered one loss on the season. Despite going into the half down 31-18, Oak Hill never gave up and was able to cut Alexandria's lead to only 4 going into the 4th quarter. The Eagles continued to battle, but weren't able to even the score or get a go ahead basket. The final score was 51-45. Landri Hardman led the Eagles in scoring with 17 points. Hardman also had 5 assists. Brianna Dailey scored 13 points and had 8 rebounds. The Eagles are now 19-2 on the season and 6-1 in conference. On Tuesday, Oak Hill will travel to Eastern for their last regular season contest.
