Oak Hill High School

The Golden Eagles started strong winning the first quarter 19-6 by 13. The rest of the game was close, but the Eagles held around that 13 point lead throughout winning 66-52. In the first half, RJ Shugart provided the offense punch scoring 19 of our 37 points for the Eagles, then in the 2nd half Jace Tonagel provided the offensive punch scoring 14 of the 29 points for the Eagles. The team defense worked together to stifle the Argylls in the 1st quarter and did enough work the rest of the game to keep the Argylls at 52 points. Jace Tonagel finished the game with 25 points 9 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. RJ Shugart finished with 24 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist. Ryan Lawson had 6 points and a rebound. Landon Cruzan had 4 points and 3 rebounds. Landon Watts had 3 points and a pair of rebounds. KD Simmons had 2 points 2 rebounds and an assist. Owen Roth had 2 points. The Golden Eagles are now 11-3, and 5-0 in Conference play. No rest for the weary as the Eagles travel to a really good Lapel team tomorrow night with a 6pm JV start.
