Oak Hill High School

The North Miami Warriors dominated the Wrestling Regional hosted by Peru High School on Saturday, February 8, 2025. North Miami led throughout the day and won by a wide margin over second place Maconaquah. Northfield edged out Oak Hill for third place. (See the team standings below.) North Miami and Maconaquah each had three individual champions. North Miami advanced eight wrestlers to next week's Fort Wayne Semi-State. Oak Hill was next with six wrestlers advancing. RJ Trevino (39-2 at 190 lbs.) finished in second place for Oak Hill. He lost a major decision to Maconaquah's Ethan Farnell in the finals. Farnell is the only wrestler that has beaten Trevino this season. Also advancing to Semi-State for the Golden Eagles are: Manny Mora (3rd at 113), Colin Tarlton (3rd at 120), Brayd Arthur (4th at 138), Cayden Jones (3rd at 150), and Thane Jones (4th at 285).
