Coach Brunner Named IATCCC Boys Coach Of The Year

OHTF Coach Paige Brunner was recently named the 2024 State of Indiana Boys Track & Field Coach of Year by the IATCCC (Coaches Association). Coach Brunner was 1 of 3 coaches honored for boys track at the State Coaches Clinic with the state recognizing a Small School Coach of the Year, Medium School Coach of the Year, and Large School Coach of the Year. Oak Hill is considered a Medium Sized School by the association. It is the 2nd time Coach Brunner won this award, having also received this honor in 2019. In 2024 the OHTF Golden Eagles finished 3rd at the Class1a2a3a Indoor State Finals, won both Grant 4 and Central Indiana Conference Titles, along with capturing their 5th straight IHSAA Sectional Championship. The season included 5 program records and 3 Indiana All Stars. In all this was the 5th time Coach Brunner was named the State Coach of the Year in either Cross Country or Track. His 2024 State Coach of the Year nomination was his 19th overall. Coach Brunner also received his 3rd Association President's Appreciation Award and started his tenure as the Association's active President for 2025-2027. Derek Freeman of Springs Valley was the Small School Coach of the Year while Nathan Warnecke of Fishers was the Large School Coach of the Year.
