Oak Hill High School

The 8th grade girls basketball team ended their season with a great team win against Northfield. They started out in their usual press which caused some mayhem. However, it was only a 4 point game at half-time. The Lady Eagles came out strong in the 3rd quarter scoring 13 points to push the lead 31-18. Brailyn Peterson ended the 3rd quarter with a buzzer beater three-pointer. Lily Johnson led the Eagles tonight with 9 points, all coming from behind the 3-point arch. She also had 4 steals. Ava David had 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. Aleese Warnock had 6 points. The scoring was very even for the rest of the team. Kora Weller had 6 steals and 4 rebounds on the defensive end and a bucket. Brylie Spiecher had 5 steals for the night along with a bucket. The 8th Grade finished 12-6 and were the Grant Four Champs for the second year in a row.
