The Golden Eagles won the first and last quarter and tied the middle quarters. The Eagles had an 11 point lead in the 3rd quarter when the Panthers in a matter of about 2:30 got it to one. Then right at the 3rd quarter buzzer Jace Tonagel hit a big 3, then in the 4th quarter Cruzan hit a jumper to push it to 5, and the lead never got under that the rest of the game. RJ Shugart scored 12 in the 4th quarter to help seal the deal. Jace Tonagel finished with 22 points 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. RJ Shugart finished with 21 points, 2 assists and 2 boards. Landon Cruzan had 7 points 3 assists and 2 rebounds. Ryan Lawson had 5 points, 4 rebounds and an assist. Landon Watts had 4 points, 4 rebounds and an assist. Owen Middlesworth with 3 points, a rebound and an assist. Luke Elzinga had 2 points and 3 assists. The Golden Eagles are now 12-4 on the year. The team will travel to Blackford this Friday for a chance to clinch the CIC with a win.
