Wrestlers Season Comes To End At Semi-State

Delta (115.5) won the team championship of the Fort Wayne Wrestling Semi-State held at the Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, February 15, 2025. They were followed by New Haven (105.5), Homestead (88.5), Bellmont (64.5), and Adams Central and Garrett tied with 52.0. Oak Hill's outstanding wrestling season came to an end as none of the six wrestlers competing in the Semi-State were successful in their attempts to advance to the State Finals, but each of them and the entire team can be proud of the individual and team accomplishments of the 2024-25 season. Individual Semi-State Results and Season Record: 113 - Manny Mora 0 - 1 (loss by pin to Griffin Byrum of Jay County in 3:00) 32-9 120 - Colin Tarlton 0 - 1 (loss by tech fall to Timmy Rocha of New Haven 3-18) 29-13 138 - Brayd Arthur 0 - 1 (loss by pin to Dylan Ogg of Adams Central in 3:09) 30-13 150 - Cayden Jones 0 - 1 (loss by pin to Drew Trigg of Concord in 2:52) 35-7 190 - RJ Trevino 1 - 1 (win by major decision over A.J. Shefferly of Fort Wayne Dwenger 19-9) 40-3 (loss by decision to Austin Parks of Northridge 2-5) 285 - Thane Jones 0 - 1 (loss by pin to Dawson Baumer of Concord in 1:23) 15-6 Seniors Colin Tarlton (120) and RJ Trevino (190) ended their high school wrestling careers. Colin's career varsity record was 113-43. RJ's career varsity record was 99-12.
