The Golden Eagles executed their game plan pretty well and kept up with the Blue Devils for the first half with a 27 all tie at halftime, but couldn’t quite keep up in the 3rd quarter in their 4th game in 8 days, losing that frame 6-15, and ultimately the game by a final score of 47-56. Jace Tonagel scored 20 points, with 5 assists and 6 rebounds. RJ Shugart scored 18 points with a pair of assists and 3 rebounds. Landon Cruzan had 6 points and 4 rebounds. Owen Middlesworth had 3 points, 4 rebounds and a pair of assists. The Golden Eagles are now 13-6 on the season. They will play Friday night at Swayzee Gym versus Elwood, and with a win they will seal their 3rd conference championship in the last 4 years.
