Oak Hill High School

At the only Swayzee in the world, the Golden Eagles defeated the Elwood Panthers 58-28 to win their 3rd CIC Conference championship in 4 years and 10th in the 19 years Oak Hill has been a part of the CiC. The Panthers kept it close for a quarter with the Eagles leading 10-7 after one. Then the Golden Eagles got going and scored 22 in the 2nd and ultimately winning by 30. Jace Tonagel had 17 points 4 assists and 8 rebounds. RJ Shugart had 10 points with a rebound and an assist. Owen Middlesworth had 8 points and a rebound. Both Watts and Lawson finished with 6 points and a pair of rebounds each. Rounding out the scoring for the Eagles: Elzinga with 3, and Lamb, Roth, Simmons, and Dailey with 2 each. The Golden Eagles are now 14-6 on the season. They will travel to a good Northwestern team on Tuesday, then finish out the season at home on senior night Friday versus Delta.
