The Boys Varsity Eagles went down 0-1 in the first three minutes of the game to the Braves. From that point on, the Eagles dug deep and got the offense rolling and the defense buckled down to shut the Braves down the rest of the game. Luke Elzinga scored a goal unassisted to tie up the game 1-1 with a rocket from 20+ yards out halfway through the first half. Towards the end of the first half, the Eagles found the back of the net again. Manuel Mora scored a goal off a Carter Kreitzer corner kick to give the Eagles the lead. The final score was Eagles over Braves 2-1 with a big win for the boys at home!
